When Tiger Woods burst onto the scene as an Amateur he was a skinny kid with immense talent. At some point in time in the late 90s and earlier 00s Woods started transforming his body into a lean, cut and possibly even ripped physique. Golf analysts revered his work ethic and flaunted his athleticism and physique as definitive advantages over the competition.
Tiger for the most part has avoided the steroids question. His character was impeccable and his work ethic unquestioned so while there may have been a whisper here or there, nobody ever put the Serena Roberts full court press on Woods. Again this was understandable, it was golf, he was a Grade A guy, why bring up unfounded questions or try to undercover something buried deep in the players life when you really have no leads.
Today is a different story however. Now we know that Tiger Woods has significant character flaws. We know that he will cheat on his wife. So why wouldn't he do the same to the game of golf? His ego and desire for more more more is evident by the never ending line of ladies coming out by the day. So why now should we automatically believe that Tiger Woods wouldn't have seeked out an edge? That he wouldn't have taken a short cut or some HGH to try to quickly heal an injury.
As of right now Tiger's public image is getting run through the media meat chopper but his golf image is still in tact. Tiger will bounce back after a divorce and people will eventually forgive and forget his "sex addiction". But if he was to ever be found to have taken steroids his golf image would be ruined. His chase for Jack Nicklaus's 18 majors would be extremely tainted. He'd be the one and only major golfer to be found to have taken the edge. He'd essentially be Barry Bonds with nobody accepting his accomplishments as true records.
This post was not me saying that Tiger Woods took steroids in order to bulk up and give him an advantage. All I am saying is that today, don't you think that the possiblity of Tiger Woods and steroid use is a lot greater than you thought it was four weeks ago?

I am not saying that he is/has, but if it is true I would compare him to Barry Bonds. He was far above his competition without PEDs. Now all of his accomplishemnts will be questioned when there was no need for it because he could have gotten there without them.
