Thinking Lines: Is Now Andy Murray's Time?

The Australian Open starts this coming weekend so its time to start thinking about just who is going to win the tournament. The main contenders are obviously Roger Federer (2:1) and Rafael Nadal (2:1) whom combined have won this tournament seemingly every year. But honestly who wants to gamble at 2:1 odds and are either truly a lock to win the tournament? Federer has come back to the pack some over the past year and showed vulnerability against people not named Nadal when he got crushed by Juan Martin Del Potro at the US Open. Nadal and his lingering knee issues will have to show me something before I jump back on the bandwagon.

Nope my pick this Aussie Open is Andy Murray (4:1). He has the skillset to compete with any of the top players from Roddick to Del Potro to Federer. Novak Djokovic, Andy Roddick, and Del Potro have all gotten their break through major victory at some point in their career but not Murray. I think this tournament will be that breakthrough for the 22 year old.

Ranking the New York Jets Historical Helmets

There's no way you can't go with the Helmet they won the Super Bowl in. You just can't. Next, I really don't understand why they don't where the helmet with the Jet as their throwback uniforms. That helmet is awesome. Then I'm going with the Helmets from the 80s because it's the classic feel and the white face mask is 10 times better than the black one. And the rankings continue until you get to... The Titans Helmet. I hate everything about those Titan uniforms. The Helmets are boring and the colors are GOD awful. Navy blue and Mustard? What the hell is that. Disgusting. If they wore those unis when I was a kid I'd probably be a Giant fan, and be much happier with my life in football.
