Its the final major of the year. It's the one we care the least about. It's the one where the random player is more likely to win. So what's going to happen this weekend? The expected and boring of course.
4 People to Watch to Contend
Obvious is Obvious- The Titties - The Titties is back and will be fighting for his wife and his mother, I'm sure both would very much appreciate having this big ass trophy in the middle of their living room.
Mr. Pretty Pants - Ian Poulter - Mr. Pretty Pants sucked a big fat long one during the Open Championship. This annoyed me as his pants were especially pretty for the event.
Spiderman - Camilo Villegas - Spiderman let me down a bit in the Open Championship after a big first round, but he will be in full stride this weekend with his random hats and tight pants and Columbiancocaine induced swagger.
The Youngster - Sean O'Hair - The PGA Championship seems to be the place that a youngster known by those who follow golf but not by those who don't can rise up and win. To me Sean O'Hair could be that guy this weekend. He hasn't been playing too well of late but now's the time to bring forth the pain.
3 People Who Might Surpisingly Miss the Cut
Masters to PGA Fail - Angel Cabrera - There's a theme in this 3 man cut rotation. See if you can pick it up. Mr. Cabrera has been cut in three of the last 4 PGA Championships he's played in.
US Open to PGA Fail - Lucas Glover - Lucas Glover's best ever finish at the PGA Championship is 46th. That's not exactly a terrific track record.
British to PGA Fail- Stewart Cink - Mr. Cink may have just improbably one the Open Championship but before that he had a three straight major cut streak which started at last years PGA Championship.
2 People to Root For this Weekend
The Fat Man - John Daly - Come on you know rooting for John Daly is fun. You know looking at his pants are hilarious. Imagine if somehow he puts together three solid rounds and is in contention on sunday. You know you would want to watch him.
The Local CT Boy- JJ Henry - Mr. Henry has had an ok and under the radar year this season. If he was able to win a major title it would be pretty cool for the local area, so go JJ>
1 Winner
Tigger Woo- A Year with no majors for Tiger? Come on. He's coming off back to back wins. He's obviously playing extremely well. Why would you really pick anybody else?
