A Guide to Tailgaiting Games: Ladder Golf

College and NFL Football is right around the corner, so its time to review some of your best options for prepping for the big game. The Guide On How to Play : Throw bolas, or whatever the hell you want to call them, at the pvc pipe tower. Land it on the top rung for 3, middle rung for 2, bottom for 1. The team who scores the most points in a round gets their score minus their opponents score added to their total. Play to 21 and you're good. Complexity: Limited - Another game that requires subtraction, shit Southerners can't play. Just kidding, it would be division that through the south for a loop, they can handle subtraction. Ability to Hold a Beer While Playing: Solid - Holding a beer can only create better equilibrium in your throwing motion. Without a beer in your non-throwing hand you'll likely be off kilter and unable to throw in a straight line. Is Beer Drinking the Objective: No - Another backyard game with optional drinking. It's encouraged to either quickly...

A Guide to Tailgaiting Games: Beersbie

College and NFL Football is right around the corner, so its time to review some of your best options for prepping for the big game. The Guide On How to Play : Throw a frisbee at a ski pole with an empty beer on top. If you hit the poll and the can hits the ground you get two. If you hit the can with the frisbee and hit hits the ground you get 3. If you throw a catchable frisbee and it is dropped you get one. Here's a better explanation , if you desire more eloquence. Complexity: Limited - Again, it's pretty much simple addition after each throw. There's basically under 5 rules. It's not rocket science. Ability to Hold a Beer While Playing: Depends on If You Want to Win - If you want to win, you probably need your hands free to catch the frisbee, unless you can do everything one handed. Is Beer Drinking the Objective: No - You can integrate it in if you want, but it could also be a game with side beers and consumption at your own pace. Space Needed: 7-10 Yards - Depe...

A Guide To Tailgaiting Games: Cornhole

College and NFL Football is right around the corner, so its time to review some of your best options for prepping for the big game. The Guide On How to Play Complexity: Limited - You pretty much can be blacked out and still remember how to play this game. Get it in the hole = 3. Land it on the box = 1. And from there you have to do first grade addition and subtraction. Not bad. Ability to Hold a Beer While Playing: Great - If you can't hold a beer while throwing a 1 pound bean bag than you should work on your balance. Is Beer Drinking the Objective: No - You can consume as much or as little as you want while playing this game. We suggest the more the merrier. Space Needed: 10+ Yards - This is a major negative for the game. There's meant to be a lot of space between the boards. A lot of space. This forces you to get to your point of interest very early to stake claim on the ground. It also allows your drunken friends to stumble into the game, be jackasses and just swat the t...

2 Lessons I Learned from Attending the Travelers Championship

~I went to the Traveler's Championship (aka the golf tourney in Hartford that no foreigners play in) on Saturday and while I learned a few things I have one important piece of wisdom to share. If you attend a golf tournament in the near future I have a singular suggestion for you (other than wear sun screen) and that is find the draft beer tent. I walked around the course for multiple hours and everywhere they had typical food and beverage stands and each one was selling either Bud or Bud Light Aluminum 16 ounce bottles or Heineiken or Amstel Light 12 ounce cans for 5.75. I figured that was the typical price so I ponied up the money and had one with lunch. Than after lunch we went strolling around the lake which holes 15, 16, & 17 are built around and I saw people drinking draft beer. So I followed the trail and saw the tent in the distance with about 12 different kegs lined up. So I figured I'd see how much they were, figuring about 8 bucks, and when I get their with ...

Off Topic: Miller Coors Merger

On Tuesday Miller and Coors decided to merge the two companies into one . The deal gives a 58% stake to the boys of Miller and a 42% percent stake to the Molson Coors cats, however the agreement states their will be an equal voting share. So how will this really effect the average beer drinker? The answer is... Probably not that much, atleast initially. The companies are claiming that the merger will save them a combined 500 million dollars per year. This will result from "reducing shipping distances, optimizing production and eliminating overlapping corporate and marketing services." All of this will be things that most people in the country will not see the difference. So if you expect Coors Light to disappear off the shelves, because it's horrible, in favor of Miller Light than you are mistaken. Where they will be some publicly noted difference is in "corporate and marketing services". Currently Coors Light is the official beer of NASCAR and the NFL ...

The Best or Worst Way to Get Drunk

Usually when you hear alcohol and hospital in the same sentence it involves the words stomach pump. For instance, Ole Rick tried to out drink a girl at a formal and went shot for shot until he turned blue and had to go to the hospital and get his stomach pumped in addition to other unmentionable acts. Well apparently if you do exactly the right thing in Australia, or exactly the wrong thing depending on your outlook on life and intensive care, you can get yourself served three shots of Vodka per hour for a three day period. So what do you have to do to get this treatment? It's pretty simple just digest some Antifreeze and you'll be all set. Granted the man probably had no idea what was getting drip fed into his system but damn, three shots an hour for three 24 hour periods, that'll run you a minor fortune at the bar. Hopefully for his sake it was not Rubinoff or Mr. Boston or the classy State Liquor brand of Vodka's else he may have a permanent life hangover. Tip...

Fridays with Big Bear: I've Been Drunk Before

And I've taken part in or seen some pretty ridiculous stunts while drunk. I've seen friends get teeth smashed out their mouth, fingers damn near cut off and I've seen a gallon of beer get polished off in under 20 minutes. Well under. Hell, I've even poured a grill full of burning charcoal into my trunk...while it was full I've fireworks. But I've never been as drunk, nor have I ever seen anybody as drunk, as you'd have to be to do something this retarded . I don't what the thought process was, but I'd like to. It was suggested to me that perhaps he was just looking for a safe place to shack up for the night and thought, "Nobody can bother me in that cage." I for one think the bears may have looked thirsty, and perhaps this clown was trying to share the festive attitude. But, we all know how picky bears can be when it comes to beer.

A New Bar Game to Play with Buddies

Next time you head out to the bar you can play a new game which is being played by Premiership Football Players in the UK. See they enjoy drinking just as much as the next 20 something year old man, but they have bank so they need to spice it up. So what do they do is, well, they play a game where a single person has to pay for every single round during that evening and how do they decide who it is? Simple, whoever brings the least amount of hard cash to the bar is forced to pick up the entire tab. So basically if you see a few rich ass soccer players rollin into your local British pub you can expect them to be packin up to a couple hundred thousand pounds of dough in their pocket. Personally I think there should be a secondary bet involved where the person with the most cash is forced to make it rain at the local strip club, but perhaps that is just me. More Reason to Not Like North Carolina

In the NFL where every single player who breaks the law is this weeks news. Chris Chambers of the Miami Dolphins is the most recent addition, as he is being charged for a DWI, reckless driving and speeding in North Carolina on saturday. Really none of this should surpise anyone a different NFL player gets a DWI every other week, but this is different. Chambers actually passed the breathalizer test and is still being charged with a DWI. What the F* is that? What is the friggin point in having a breathilizer if it only works one way. So if he failed the breathalizer is he doomed? But passing it doesn't matter and he still can face charges? Well that is just lame. Sure convict him on the reckless driving and speeding charges, but if he was ever convicted of the DWI after being below the legal limit that would be utter bullshit.

Coors Invests As Stock Goes Down

What Coors you don't like America's Recent Great Hero Joey Chestnut? You disrespect all of Americans by proclaiming that Takeru Kobayashi the re-reversal of fortunator, is still the world's fastest eater. Sorry but his stock is on the down turn, arthritic jaw and all. Joey Chestnut if you run into a Coors exec and would like to ask for an endorsement deal, or would like to kick him in the junk go ahead. America will let you get away with a little assault, as you are on par with Lincoln.

Happy 4th O' July

Drink some beer and play some friggin wiffle ball...

F'n Awesome

This would definately provide a more entertaining work environment. Hmm, I could use a Bud Light right now. Will the Owner of a White Station Wagon Please Go F*ck Yourself.
