The 2011 SI Swimsuit Edition consists of 5 different rookies. The combination of the five, makes up this years entire body paint section, which means some good pictures. Of the five all of them are beautiful, but one is hands down the winner when it comes to rookie of the year. 5. Shannon Click: Blond, tall and very skinny. Beautiful obviously but in a slender athletic way. 4. Alyssa Miller: The next three is basically drawing straws. All three are blond all have similar physiques. Alyssa gets #4 cause when I see her I think Angelina Jolie a bit which, I just might be the only heterosexual male that thinks that she is attractive but not extremely attractive. 3. Izabel Goulart: Izabel gets #3 for me cause she resembles Alexandria Ambrosio, which is high compliment, but not overly unique. 2. So that didn't quite work as planned. For some reason I feel like even if she did manage to jump off her teammates back that she still would have been 2 feet short on the dunk attempt so perhaps this was the best result for all. The UConn women just completed two perfect seasons. They did something that no team has even come close to achieving since the UCLA days of dominance. They eviscerated all of their competition and even managed to win the National Championship game despite playing like complete crap. They are the best of the best. And yet, personally I think the Huskies are the prime example why Women's Basketball frankly doesn't catch the attention span of men around the country. Let us count the reasons why... 1) The Games Aren't Competitive In two years last night was the first game that the Huskies won by less than a double digit margin. Essentially no games UConn has played in two years has had any kind of drama in the closing minutes. You could comfortably turn off every game at the 2 minute mark knowing that UConn had won. 2) The Tournament Lacks Any Drama Maybe Tennessee losing had some drama but in reality the Womens Tournament typical flows as you would expect. If you are willing to fill out a Women's National Invitational Tournament Bracket then you are pretty much willing to fill out any bracket. Here's my Women's NIT Picks which I likely will not follow at all unless Maryland wins it all and then I can gloat about my intelligence.

Is there anything simpler than picking the Ladies Tournament Bracket? First move UConn to the Championship slot. They haven't won played a game that was decided by less than 10 points in their favor in almost two years, it's pretty safe to go with them. Next move Stanford or Nebraska or Notre Dame to the finals to lose to Connecticut. These are really your only options. Next pick basically no upsets anywhere on your bracket. Alright, you now have a near perfect Women's NCAA Tournament Bracket.

Tanith Belbin is a very attractive woman. She just might be the most attractive US Olympian in these games. If she was a snowboarder, skier, hockey player, etc. I would likely be interested in watching her compete in these 2010 Vancouver Olympics. Unfortunately, Tanith Belbin performs in some cockamamee non-sport Ice Dancing a sport in which they could prance around every single SI Swimsuit Model (including Jessica Gomes ) and I would still have no interest. And when did Ice Dancing actually become some big sport that NBC feels the need to parade on primetime? Last night while showing the girls half pipe and other events they kept on advertising how tomorrow night featured Ice Dancing. In 2006 I became overly enthused about Olympic Curling. Part of the reason was because it always seemed to be on when I got home from work and part of the reason was the fact that the US team featured 4 twenty somethings, three of whom were attractive most notably the 'skip', Cassie Johnson and her sister Jamie Johnson . You really couldn't help but pull for the two cute blonds that looked like they had never seen the sun once in their life. So with Curling getting underway today I figured I'd take a look at whom is representing the US and disappointment. The US Curling team looks like mid 30 year olds of the non-cougar variety. It appears as if Team Johnson is now Team Potter / Haskell , as both have been married in the past 4 years, and the Team was eliminated in Olympic Qualifying . Last night while I was watching Michigan officially put the nail in their season, a score on ESPNs bottom line jumped out at me. The score involved two perennial Big East Power schools. Teams that typically have a chance to make the Final Four every year. So who were these teams? The UConn and Rutgers Women's basketball teams. What was the score? About 8-gazillion for UConn and about 20 for Rutgers. At the end of last year's regular season I chronicled just how ridiculous their 36 game win streak was , well somehow this season they just might be topping their feats. 1. Once again UConn has yet to win by anything other than double digits. At this point triple digits may just be more of likely scenario than a single digit game. 2. Their current average victory is 39 points which is 7 more than last years 32. 3. They have doubled up their opponents 7 times in 20 games. They even TRIPLED two. 4. Tonight will mark the first time in my life I will ever been in attendance for a professional tennis tournament. Having lived my entire life 20 minutes from New Haven site of the Pilot Pen tournament and a little more than an hour away from the US Open, it's kind of surprising that I have never gone, but I guess tonight is better late than never. So what is in store for me the first night I ever attend a tennis match? Amelie Mauresmo vs. Svetlana Kuznetsova, two of the um... not so attractive women on the WTA. Usually my motto for Women's tennis is root for the player who is the most attractive but right now I'm befuddled. In one corner there is the Russian Kuznetsova who likely has bigger arms and legs than me and in the other there is French Lesbian Amelie Mauresmo who certainly has a more chiseled face than me. I honestly have no idea who to pull for. I just hope there isn't a lot of grunting. Why couldn't I have gotten Bondarenko ?
