Kurt Angle just appeared on the Max Kellerman on 1050 ESPN Radio to announce his intentions of shopping himself around for an MMA fight. He stated that he is in great physical shape, planning on getting a physical for MMA on Tuesday and that his intentions are to get himself a high paying fight due to the itch to test out his skills in the MMA ring. His ideal fight would be facing off against the winner of Lesnar and Couture, and he further stated that in a backstage fight against Lesnar he was able to get the better of the bigger man thanks to his quickness and center of gravity. The interview centered mostly around Kurt Angle's history as a fighter and his decision to join the WWE rather than venture into the world of MMA following his gold medal victory in Atlanta in 1996. His decision was obviously a financial one. In the mid 90s MMA still in its infancy did not offer the cash that was available at WWE, so despite the itch to still fight Angle chose the more stable option....

It shall be interesting to see whether or not Julio gets sent back to the DR or not. He's only 20 years old but he's been in the minors for 4 years. In the previous three he offered nothing special but this season in 40 innings between rookie ball and A ball he has a 1.86 ERA. It shall be interesting to see how the Cubbies handle this. Seems a little controversial to me but we shall give the man an opportunity to explain. So this week Hopkins got the opportunity to clarify his previous statements . What he basically ended up saying is he's not a racist but losing to a white fighter would be unacceptable. So, pretty much he clarified nothing. Flip the switch, if one of the Klitschko brothers said he ain't never gonna lose to a black fighter cause his Russian comrades would find it unacceptable. Wouldn't that be perceived as racist? Every now and again people get into fights with Cripples. It's a shameful experience for all. If you knock the Cripple Out than you are a heartless human being and if you perchance get beaten up by the Cripple well you are pathetic. And then there is the case of the fight between Charles Keith Turn and armless William Russell Redfern . The two got into a dispute regarding Turn's ex and Redfern's current girlfriend. During the argument a fight broke out between the two which eventually led to the girlfriend being sent to the pavement. Redfern didn't take to kindly to this and walked over and delivered a deathblow. That's right a fully functional man was killed be a cripple in a fight via headbutt. Oh but it gets worse, not only is Redfern an armless handicap but he's also a greeting card artist who's Best Wishes Cards are sold by a Handicapped Association . That's him right there drawing a beautiful flower with his friggin toes. I'm trying not...

Things that you should probably watch out for during the first 5 minutes of an MMA fight: a kick to the face. Ouch.

I know the last time I went to a Yanks Sox game there were definitive moments where I thought about doing this. I'm really glad that they beeped out the chinese swear words, I would have been seriously scarred if those hit my ears.

Come on man atleast get punched in the face once or twice, what is wrong with you? I don't think you will ever live this one down, you tapped out of a fight when the other guy was unconscious. Just hang up your MMA gloves right now and pursue some other career. I always thought the DDT was the simplest and sweetest wrestling move ever invented however this is definitely the first time I've seen someone give themselves a DDT.
