Happy MLK Jr. Day

Happy MLK Jr. day. I'm taking a breather from the blog today to get some shit done and celebrate the Jets. I shall be back with a vengeance tomorrow.

Looking At My Ridiculous Self

The rents called on saturday and said they were selling all of my old bedroom furniture and that it was time to get my ass in gear and clean out all of the crap I left in my old room when I moved out. Amongst many ridiculous things I found that I kept as a child was this Baseball Legends calendar from 1993. Well it just so happens that the dates of 1993 and 2010 line up. Wee, free calendar.

Writing Up My Own Theoretical Steroids Admission

Every athlete who gets caught with steroids has a cockamamee reason behind their usage so I figure I might as well write my own theoretical steroids admission if I ever get caught and people want to question why I did it. I am here today to admit the mistakes of my past. I am not proud of what I did but I did in fact use the cream and the clear during the early days of my blogging career. I apologize to all three of my readers as I know I have let you down deeply but I need to get it off my chest, it's been haunting me. So you're probably wondering why did I do it. Why did I take performance enhancers? It obviously wasn't to improve my performance in the blog or in any of my many softball performances. Steroids obviously didn't help my grammar or intelligence which is in a steep decline. It wasn't because I want to stay healthy during the blogs early life. My fingers were strong my mind was meh but steroids did not help me there. It wasn't because GMC...

SOS Abroad

The real job is actually doing something cool as I'm headed to Manchester England for the week leaving, well now (Yay RedEye!). Unfortunately I'm leaving Friday, the day before one of 2 annual derbies between ManU and ManCity so I won't be in town for kicks like the one seen below. I do hope to see a few fist fights and maybe a shiv or two outside of pubs between opposing fans. In my absence the posts will likely be scarce.

This Weekend In Gambling

This is a representation of my weekend at the Casino. 1st round of craps: Never did I have more chips then I started wtih. Lost 70 bucks relatively quickly and decided to get off the table. I then watched the table get hot and my friends make money. 2nd round of craps: After a trip to the ATM, I quickly lost a hundred and decided that craps was shitting on me and that I was giving up and just putting the rest of my money on Black. Roullette: Grab all the chips in my pocket and throw it on black. It's RED and I missed a chip in my pocket, bullshit. I head back to the craps table and watch someone have a ludicrous role in which everyone won 200+. After 200 dollars of quick losing I was fed up. Luck of the Irish, my ass.

Atlantic City for the Weekend

I'm headed to a bachelor party in Atlantic City for the weekend. The reason I tell you this is that there's a solid chance I won't post on monday due to, too damn hungover. In the off chance I don't post on monday through wednesday, please inform the authorities that someone might have been eaten by a Tiger in Atlantic City. Thanks. Simon...

Meetings R Lamo

My Team Meetings are nothing like kids football huddles, instead their pain, lots of pain and equal limited blogging time. Combine that with much lovely homework every night this week and the blog has suffered. Hopefully it'll kick back into action when the meetings slow.

Time for a Vacation

It's time for a vacation. This place will have echoes over the next few days. I should be back firing off things on Wednesday.

President's Day = Day Off

I've got the day off which means I'm not going to be spending it on my computer... See you tomorrow.

No Wonder My Workouts Have Been Solid Lately

A-Rod isn't the only person that I know who's used performance enhancers for years. I myself am very guilty of washing down some might performance enhancers. See I'm a big fan of tea. Hot Tea, Iced Tea, Green Tea. Pretty much all tea except for the Chai crap. When I get hangover or am on a long drive and feel the need for a nice refreshing beverage then I often turn to Vitamin Water Rescue, their Green Tea offering. It's delicious and pun intended 'rescues' me from Hangover. Now, today I learn that that's banned by the NCAA . Oh no I've tainted my body, I'll never be able to play College Athletics ever again, I just might tear up.
