Best Play: If you didnt see the massive hit laid on a USC kickoff returner by an Arkansas defender go and try to find it online, he got JACKED UP.
Dumb Ass O'The Week: Bobby Petrino, Way to go and get your Heisman Trophy Candidates leg broken in the first week of the season against a team you were mauling at the time. Great Move jackass.
Dope of the Week: Lee Corso, How's that Cal's going to win the National Championship pick treating you.
Bonehead Play of the Week: Mikey Henderson, Moments of Premature celebration in footbal are hilarious, and Henderson provided a classic holding out the ball before he crossed the goal line then losing the ball and fumbling it through the end zone for a touchback. Luckily for himself he ran the next punt back for a touchdown, to redeem himself.
Biggest Loser: Colorodo Buffalos, Ha not only did you lose to a team from Montana, but on top of that they are 1AA team that takes such games solely to get a paycheck and not to win. Wow you just made their season congrats to a good start Danny Hawkins.
Biggest Winners: Tennessee Vols, It pains me to say this but Tennessee had the best week in college football. I really wanted them to lose but not only did they not lose but they crushed Cal.
Borefest: FSU Miami, If you like tackles for a loss, zero rushing yard and punts then this was your matchup.
New Clock Rule
In case you didn't notice College Football has made some rules adjustments to quicken up the pace of the game. Most of these rules are unnoticeable, such as the clock starts at the contact of the kick on a kickoff instead of when a player touches the ball, but the biggest change is that the clock runs on change of possessions, aka after punts, ints, etc. Last night this cost Miami extra time on the clock and eliminated any possible suspense. I just don't get why they decided to tinker with things, who was complaining about the length of the game, especially coming off one of the best national championship games of all time.
