Grade A Sports Guy: Greg Maddux

Who: Eventual Hall of Fame Pitcher.

Where/When: Every 5th day this season for the San Diego Padres.

Why: I've never been a big fan of Greg Maddux until friday, when it revealed on PTI that he is the master of the Golden Shower. Yes that's right Greg Maddux, a 40 year old man, enjoys urinating on the legs of unsuspecting rookies in the shower. How classy is that?

Best Event: One could say that Greg Maddux's many playoff trips were great or the Cy Youngs or Gold Gloves, but hey lets be honest he's a Grade A Sports Guy solely because of the Chicks Dig the Longball Commercial and the many Golden Showers.

Sum Up: During several drunk moments in college I hit up some interesting places, ATO's party room, Smith's floor, Tony's GRE book, a sink next to Ruggles brushing his teeth, a car windshield, Barrett's door knob twice, but never ever a human beings leg. Congrats to you Mr. Maddux for your accomplishments.

Seriously, who didn't piss in ATO's party room? There's one crappy bathroom for like 250 people who have been there since 5 PM cause they shut the doors while the sun is still up.

So you got these mobs of drunk buffoons, and the only way to take a piss is to A - wait inline for 20 minutes (unacceptable)B - piss outside but you may or may not get back in, or C - know someone who as "VIP Bathroom Access." Fuck that.

Numbers on Steroids is a look at baseball players during the 90s to see if anything screams out at you. Mr. Boone was once the best power hitting second baseman in the league. How questionable was his success? Averages Say: Why the extra plateu in his mid 30s? At Bats Per Home Run Says: Lowest at Bats Per Home Runs at 37? Hmm.... Explaining It Away Yeak, this one is tough. Umm, late bloomer? He showed potential power early in his career and he just liked playing in Seattle a lot more than everywhere else? And umm, his career was kind of like a running backs in that it just all of a sudden fell off the map? Any of these convincing you? The Verdict Guy never hits more than 24 home runs in a season and then in his age 32 season he hits 37? And in SafeCo a pitchers park to boot? And he follows that up with 24, 35, 24 homer years still at SafeCo? And then he completely falls off the map in 2005 never to be heard from again? We've got a Screamer... Man Get Big Muscles In 30s. Hm...
