Super Bowl Awards

Wow You Guys Suck: The Replay Booth, Seriously? That last play did not warrant a replay? To me it certainly looked like Warner's hand was coming forward, whether or not the ball was still in his hand was more questionable. And hence replay could have been utilized to discern this. Runners Up: Ike Taylor was abused, Antonio Rodgers-Cromartie was also abused.

This Scarecrow Needs a Brain: The Boss, You're going to drive your crotch into the face of America? Was that a good idea? I truly hate the half time show. Runners Up: Daniels can't count to 11 and botched up our Squares.

Cough Cough Cough: Kurt Warner, For as great as Kurt Warner played the majority of the game, his one mistake is what cost the Cardinals the Super Bowl. He doesn't throw a 100 yard interception and they are taking home the trophy. Runners Up: Antonio Rodgers-Cromartie was absolutely terrible.

The Shocker: The Cardinals, Who really thought that the Cardinals would be in the Super Bowl this season? Do you even think delusional Cardinal could have even dreamt this up? They were only minutes away from a Championship, it just wasn't meant to be. Runners Up: Kurt Warner owns the 3 highest passing yard totals in Super Bowl History.

The Pimp: Larry Fitzgerald, The Man is uncoverable. He will be a force for the next decade and has stamped his foot down having the best post season of any Receiver in history. Runners Up: Santonio Holmes busted out his dong and slapped the Cards in the face, Big Ben has two Super Bowls which is 2 more than the Jets have in my life time.

You Got Jakked Up: The Media, Honestly I don't remember any big hits or any commercials that were entertaining.

New York Jets MVP: Nobody, Super Bowl... Ha That's Laughable!!!

My Picks 1-0

I got the Steelers score right and was 3 off on the Cardinals score. That's not bad.

Numbers On Steroids: Bret Boone

Numbers on Steroids is a look at baseball players during the 90s to see if anything screams out at you. Mr. Boone was once the best power hitting second baseman in the league. How questionable was his success? Averages Say: Why the extra plateu in his mid 30s? At Bats Per Home Run Says: Lowest at Bats Per Home Runs at 37? Hmm.... Explaining It Away Yeak, this one is tough. Umm, late bloomer? He showed potential power early in his career and he just liked playing in Seattle a lot more than everywhere else? And umm, his career was kind of like a running backs in that it just all of a sudden fell off the map? Any of these convincing you? The Verdict Guy never hits more than 24 home runs in a season and then in his age 32 season he hits 37? And in SafeCo a pitchers park to boot? And he follows that up with 24, 35, 24 homer years still at SafeCo? And then he completely falls off the map in 2005 never to be heard from again? We've got a Screamer... Man Get Big Muscles In 30s. Hm...
