With the news that the Yankees DFA'd Cody Ransom, it appears as if his much maligned quest for the Mendoza line has come to a conclusion. At no point in time this season has Ransom's average reached .201. His average peaked at .200 on two seperate occasions but he could never get over that hump.
And to think, some jackasses thought the Yankees would be better with Ransom at third base than with A-Rod there at the start of the year. Idiots.
