NFL Week 9 Awards

Wow You Guys Suck: Washington Redskins, To think I actually thought you were going to not finish below .500 this season. What a fool I am. The Redskins are a joke from head to toe. The Coach makes statements that are baffling. The owners an ass. The GM is actually thinking of picking up Larry Johnson. The players get crapped on every week. Bad from head to toe. Runners Up: Green Bay Packers o-line thinks blocking is optional, the Bears defense was shredded.

Cough Cough Cough: Kris Brown, Way to nail that 42 yard field goal at the buzzer to tie it up and send it into OT. Nice job Kris. Runners Up: no lead with the Linos is safe, the Panthers can start scheduling their January tee times now.

The Shocker: The Bucs, the Bucs have looked soooo bad this season. Throw in the fact that the Packers were a desperate 4-3 team and this game looked like a lock. But the Pack defense faded in the fourth quarter and their o-line continually forgets how to block. Runners Up: the 49ers are done, the Bears forgot what time the game started.

The Pimp: Kurt Warner, there certainly is no better way to bounce back from a shit performance than to throw 5 touchdown passes and essentially win the game in the 1st half. Runners Up: Larry Fitzgerald made it a combo effort, Michael Turner is making SD fans wonder why they let him go and kept LT.

This Scarecrow Needs a Brain: Tom Coughlin, At some point you have to play for the win. Up 3 with just under 3 minutes to go and 1st and goal you need to get aggressive. A td WINS the football game. But you were too afraid of a turnover so you got conservative put up a fg and watched your team lose. Runners Up: the neckbeard returned for 3 INTs, one on one coverage against Randy Moss is eventually going to burn.

You Got JAKKED UP: Jahvid Best,

My Fantasy Anti-MVP: Greg Olsen, Hey Jay Cutler couldn't you have thrown a touchdown pass to somebody else? Anybody else. Damn it.

New York Jets MVP: Bye Week, Wooooooo, no loss this weekend.

Surprised you didn't mention Joey Porter talking shit for a week prior to the game with the Pats, then recording 0 sacks and 0 tackles.

Ya I forgot about that. But that's pretty much Joey Porter every week now. Lots of talk a lot less action.

Numbers On Steroids: Bret Boone

Numbers on Steroids is a look at baseball players during the 90s to see if anything screams out at you. Mr. Boone was once the best power hitting second baseman in the league. How questionable was his success? Averages Say: Why the extra plateu in his mid 30s? At Bats Per Home Run Says: Lowest at Bats Per Home Runs at 37? Hmm.... Explaining It Away Yeak, this one is tough. Umm, late bloomer? He showed potential power early in his career and he just liked playing in Seattle a lot more than everywhere else? And umm, his career was kind of like a running backs in that it just all of a sudden fell off the map? Any of these convincing you? The Verdict Guy never hits more than 24 home runs in a season and then in his age 32 season he hits 37? And in SafeCo a pitchers park to boot? And he follows that up with 24, 35, 24 homer years still at SafeCo? And then he completely falls off the map in 2005 never to be heard from again? We've got a Screamer... Man Get Big Muscles In 30s. Hm...
