A Look at Historic Team Home Run Totals

Wednesday, October 07, 2009

After yesterday's post, I got curious as to just how historically bad the Mets home run output was, so I went back and grabbed the last 30 years of MLB teams who came in last in the league in home runs. What you will notice is that A) the 2008 Giants were worse, B) Totals went up dramatically following the strike shortened year of 1995 and 1994, and C) the Cardinals of the 80s were a bunch of bitch hitting sallies.
